I am at work today. It's friday afternoon - my boss has left for the day which kind of makes me angry as I have a LOT of work to do and he's slacking off.......so here I am slacking off!! hahaha
I don't know why I'm even on here, I don't really have anything to say. Hmmm........
I've been working on my projects. That's mostly due to somebody's brilliant idea (I think it might've been Tara's!) for a bunch of us to get together one night a week (Monday) and just do crafts, whatever you want. So, I've dug out the old projects and have been working on them! It feels so good to see some progress again - especially when I look back at my blog and see the pictures and I can say - oh, I've got more done on that one, oh, and that one too!! But, I also just received a new one in the mail this week that I'm so excited to get started on - it's called Jingle Birds - a bunch of birds on a line with toques on and bells around then, except I think I'll leave the bells off, it makes it too Christmas-y. But I've promised myself I will not start it util I've completed the bear with wagon one, because I want to hang that one up in my front entry I think. I've got a sunflower kind of thing going on in there and there's sunflowers in that picture, and all the colours of my room - which would be red (of course!) and browns.
Anyway - I'm rambling and I should be working. Maybe I will update this blog this weekend with some pictures and some other posts. I'll try not to be too boring!!! Oh, well - who reads this anyway??!!

Getting Started

This is my very first post on my very first Blog on the very first of August, 2009!! I'm blaming Ayla for this, I love her Blog and feel like I know her better when I read it! Anyway - I don't think I'll tell many people that I've started this, until I actually have something on here - could be embarrassing to some and boring to most!!
I'm not even sure why I'm doing this - like, who's interested in my life anyway?! But, I'm turning 50 this year and it's really not sitting easy with me! I'm realizing there's so much in my life that I still want to do and if I don't get at it, it's not going to happen!! Not that I want to go sky diving or bungee jumping or anything like that - but there's places I'd like to go and people I'd like to visit and books I'd like to read and yes, projects I'd like to finish!! So - my first blog on here is going to show all the projects I've started and never completed - could be a few photos!! Speaking of photos - that's another project. I'm not a scrapbooker and really don't have any desire to do that, but I do want/need to get my photos organized. And now, since I've been informed (today, in fact) that my son has set his wedding date to December 18th this year instead of next summer - I really have to get at that project, because I'm sure someone is going to be asking for some pictures of him!!
Anyway - I'm off to take some photos of my projects..........this is fun!!
